History

June 1967:    　Hisahiro Takagi founded Oomiya Kogyo Ltd. in the old Omiya City (now Saitama City), Saitama   　Prefecture. Started producing industrial rubber products. June 1970: 　Built a manufacturing plant in the Omiya City (now Saitama City). June 1971: 　Company renamed and newly incorporated as Oomiya Industry Co., Ltd. with a capital of 10,000,000 yen. 　Hisahiro Takagi became the first president. March 1973: 　Started doing business with the Urawa Plant of Shinagawa Refractories Co., Ltd. April 1975: 　Opened a sales office in the Omiya City (now Saitama City). April 1978: 　Started sales of CIP rubber molds. April 1979: 　Yumoto Plant of Shinagawa Refractories Co., Ltd. purchased the first domestic CIP unit, produced by 　Kobe Steel. Foreseeing a growth in the market, Oomiya Industry intensified its CIP rubber mold design   　and sales operations. June 1981:　 　Opened a new headquarters office in the Omiya City (now Saitama City). September 1996: 　 　Started design and sales of peripheral devices for CIP production systems. July 2000:　 　Hisahiro Takagi became the chairman of the company,   　with Shoji Mukai taking the position of president. April 2021:   　Ikuhito Takagi became the position of president,       with Shoji Mukai taking the chairman of the company.
